It is also one of the more comfortable venues for fans and creates a great atmosphere for high school hockey. especially at tournament time.

Lund Arena
On the campus of Gustavus Adolphus University in St. Peter, Lund Arena offers seating for 1,500 and the opportunity to stand and watch from a hallway above the ice.
On top of being the home of the Gusties men's and women's hockey team, the ice, which is available from October through March, is used by high school teams largely during section playoffs.
All the seating at the arena is raised above ice and board level making for easy viewing of the action.

The Alltel Center
The home of the Minnesota State University, Mankato, Maverick hockey team, The Alltel Center is a versatile building hosting concerts, conventions and many ice-skating events such as hockey and figure skating.
The arena is one of the nicest in Southern Minnesota and the Mavericks play a competitive schedule with this year being no exception as the team opens up against the University of Minnesota in November.
The team boasts a large number of Minnesota players and several from the Southern Minnesota area, including Rochester and Owatonna.
Four Seasons Centre and City Arena
The Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna, like the City Arena in Albert Lea, has two sheets of ice allowing for skating all year long.
Both the Owatonna boys' and girls' high school hockey teams play their games at the Four Seasons Centre, and crowds get behind their team and make for a loud but inviting environment.
The Four Seasons Center is also home to the Junior A hockey team, the Southern Minnesota Express. The 2007-08 campaign marks the 31st season of NAHL competition, making it the oldest Junior A hockey league in the U.S.
